Therefore, the risk is lower, and you can expect the growth of Japan as a whole.
7. Mention
A mention is when you refer to someone on social media.
For example, when you want to mention someone on Twitter or Instagram, you use the at symbol “@” followed by their name, and they get a notification.
That’s why it’s called a mention.
Example
For instance, if you tweet “@username Today’s cafe was awesome!” on Twitter, that person will get a notification and think, “Oh, I’m being mentioned!” A lot of people use it.
8. Generative AI
Generative AI is AI that can create new text, images, sounds, etc.
In the past, AI only organized and predicted data, but this generative AI can write texts, draw pictures, and do creative things.
Example
For example, ChatGPT is one type of generative AI that generates natural answers when you ask questions.
There are also AIs that create images, and using them, you can automatically draw new illustrations. It’s really amazing.
9. LLM (Large Language Model)
LLM stands for “Large Language Model.”
It’s AI that has learned a huge amount of data and can write very natural conversations and texts, and even automatically create program codes.
Example
The GPT series is a representative example, and since it has learned a huge amount of text, it can answer questions, summarize texts, and even translate.
Nowadays, it’s used in AI assistants and chatbots.
10. SaaS (Software as a Service)
SaaS (pronounced “Saas” or “Sars”) is a service model where you can use software over the internet.
In the past, you had to install software on your computer, but now you can use it on the cloud, so you can use the software as long as you have internet access, no matter where you are.
Example
Google Docs and Slack are famous SaaS examples.
As long as you have internet access, you can access them from anywhere, and updates are done automatically, so it’s very convenient.
